Established in 1965, the California Western Law Review is the flagship legal journal of California Western School of Law, San Diego’s oldest law school. The Journal publishes scholarship across a broad range of legal fields, with an emphasis on timely issues affecting the law, the legal profession, and society.

The California Western Law Review publishes three issues each academic year in the fall, winter, and spring. Each issue features thoughtful legal scholarship addressing contemporary legal developments, emerging challenges, and matters of importance to legal scholars, practitioners, policymakers, and the broader community.
